NFL on Regent Street confirmed

NFL International Series Miami Dolphins @ Oakland Raiders Wembley Stadium London UKAs we exclusively revealed on Sky Sports on Sunday night, NFL UK has confirmed that the NFL on Regent Street event will return for 2015.

In the past two years, the fan event has taken place on the Saturday ahead of the first International Series game at Wembley Stadium. But in 2015, the NFL on Regent Street will take place on Saturday October 24 – the day before the Jacksonville Jaguars take on the Buffalo Bills.

In 2013, the NFL on Regent Street was named Best Live Experience at the Sport Industry Awards as more than 500,000 fans took over central London. In 2014, more than 600,000 fans attended the event that featured guest appearances from the Miami Dolphins and Oakland Raiders players and coaches, as well as Hall of Fame stars such as Dan Marino and Andre Reed.

While no official announcement has been made at this time, BritViewNFL understands that the traditional Trafalgar Square Fan Rally – which has previously been held in October – will take place ahead of the first International Series game of 2015. The event will likely take place on Saturday October 3 – the day before the Miami Dolphins take on the New York Jets at Wembley Stadium.

That Dolphins-Jets showdown has proven to be the most popular of the three International Series games on the slate for 2015. While season ticket packages are still available, individual tickets for that Dolphins-Jets clash have already sold out.

Other individual game tickets and season ticket packages are still on sale via www.ticketmaster.co.uk/nfl
