British defensive end Jack Crawford remains on course for an emotional return to London this autumn.
Just days after being released in the final round of roster cuts by the Oakland Raiders, BritViewNFL is happy to see that the Londoner has signed a contract with the Dallas Cowboys.
So instead of playing against the Miami Dolphins on September 28, Crawford could be in action for the Cowboys when they take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 10 on Sunday November 9.
Crawford will need to make a strong start to life in Dallas, however, because a season-long roster spot is not assured.
To make room for Crawford on their roster, the Cowboys placed second round defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence on the Injured Reserve/Designated for Return list. That means Lawrence, who broke his foot in training camp at the end of July, cannot practice until Week 7 but he is then free to return to action in Week 9.
Crawford was a fifth round pick of the Raiders out of Penn State in 2012. He has played in 19 regular season games and recorded 7 tackles and 2 quarterback hits.
